Education

Originally from Easton, Massachusetts, I chose the University of Tampa for its AACSB-accredited business program and strong reputation in business. Moving away from home was also a way to push myself out of my comfort zone and embrace new experiences. Now, as a senior majoring in marketing, I love the variety this field offers, especially with such knowledgeable professors who bring their real-world business expertise into the classroom. I’ve enjoyed diving into courses like Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Buyer Behavior, and Speech for Business, each helping me understand how to create impactful marketing campaigns, engage with diverse audiences, and communicate persuasively in professional settings. While my coursework has built a solid foundation, I know learning doesn’t stop in the classroom. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned to hands-on work experiences that keep me growing and adapting. Plus, I’m always up for new adventures—I love to travel, explore, and connect with people, which has made my time here even more exciting and dynamic!

Study Abroad

This past spring 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, a dream I’ve had for years. Despite the initial fear of being away from home for four months, it turned out to be the most rewarding experience of my life. During my time in Barcelona, I experienced significant personal growth, learning not only about the city but also about adapting to and embracing over a dozen new cultures. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, made possible through the University of Tampa, and proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone to take on this life-changing adventure. In addition to living in Barcelona, I had the privilege of exploring several other amazing destinations, including Switzerland, London, Amsterdam, Belgium, Morocco, Paris, Ireland, Portugal, Prague, Monaco, Nice, Mallorca, Milan, and Lake Como, among others. This experience has not only expanded my global perspective but also enriched my life in ways I never could have imagined. I will carry these memories and lessons with me for the rest of my life.
